Oneday,shewasapproachedbyanon-profitorganizationthatworkedwithunderprivilegedchildreninthecity.Theyaskedifshewouldbeinterestedinteachingatheaterclasstothekidsandwithouthesitation,shesaidyes.
Overthenextfewyears,Eleanordedicatedmuchofhertimetoteachingactingandstorytellingtochildrenwhowouldotherwisenothavehadtheopportunity.Shesawfirsthandtheimpactthatartcouldhaveontheirlives.Throughtheirperformancesandinteractionswitheachother,theydevelopedempathy,self-confidence,andasenseofcommunity.
