Mastering the Art of Lee Sin's Combos

The Basic Techniques

Lee Sin's core combos revolve around utilizing his passive, Flurry, which grants him bonus attack speed for two attacks after he uses an ability. The basic combo goes as follows: Q (Sonic Wave) + Q (Resonating Strike) + auto attack + E (Tempest) + auto attack + R (Dragon's Rage).

Sonic Wave and Resonating Strike

The key to this combo is hitting Lee Sin's Q skill twice. The first time you cast it, he'll send out a skill shot that deals damage and reveals any enemy champions that it hits. If you manage to hit an enemy with Sonic Wave, the skill's icon in Lee Sin's abilities bar will change to Resonating Strike for a few seconds. When you cast it again, Lee Sin shoots forward towards the marked enemy and deals bonus damage based on their missing health.

Tempest and Cripple

After Lee Sin lands Resonating Strike, he can immediately follow up with his E, Tempest. This skill deals area-of-effect damage around him and applies the Cripple debuff. Cripple reduces the movement speed of all enemies hit, making them easier to land Lee Sin's auto attacks and further combos.

Dragon's Rage

Once you've hit the enemy with all preceding skills, you can end the combo by using Lee Sin's ultimate, Dragon's Rage. This ability deals a decent amount of damage and kicks your opponent in the direction of your choice. The combo becomes especially lethal when executed under your own turret, as Dragon's Rage will often kick the enemy champion directly into the fountain, killing them instantly.

The Insec Kick

The Insec Kick is a combo that can effectively turn the tide of a team fight or secure a kill during a gank. This combo is named after a former professional player, Insec, who popularized it during his career. The combo goes as follows: WR + Q + Flash + Dragon's Rage.

Ward Jump

The first step in executing the Insec Kick is to place a ward close enough to the enemy champion you're targeting. You can then use your W ability, Safeguard, to dash to the ward. This technique is commonly referred to as \"ward jumping\" and is one of Lee Sin's signature mechanics.

Flash Kick

After you've used your W ability to get close to your intended target, use your ultimate, Dragon's Rage, to knock them away towards your team or turret. As you're casting the skill, quickly flash behind the enemy champion by pressing your summoner spell key. This will kick the enemy champion into your team or turret while keeping you safe.

The Double Q Combo

Execution Tips

The main trick to executing the Double Q Combo is to use your Q skill, Sonic Wave, without throwing the skill shot. Instead, you should immediately dive into the enemy champion with Resonating Strike, chaining the first Q ability. As soon as Resonating Strike hits, you should quickly recast Sonic Wave to trigger the second Q ability. This combo takes excellent timing and requires a lot of practice to pull off consistently.
